The feel of The Pelican Resort is not unlike that of a small community or neighborhood. People often come together to enjoy the simple things. A pot luck dinner. An impromptu shuffleboard tournament. Family strolls on the beach. And to indulge in a timeless Pelican tradition—gathering by the pool each morning with friends old and new, to plan the day ahead and to relive the great times they had yesterday.

Here at The Pelican:
Two Swimming Pools - one heated and one for the brave of heart! Plus two shuffleboard courts, barbecue grills, picnic tables with umbrellas and a beach volleyball court.

Down on the Beach:
There’s so much to rent! Surfboards, boogie boards and bicycles. Plus golf carts, beach chairs and umbrellas.

Just Down the Road:
Great food and great fun await! Enjoy local nightlife on Flagler Avenue including great restaurants, lounges and even a wine bar. And take a stroll through one of the beautiful local parks. Go kayaking in the intercoastal waterway or fishing in Mosquito Lagoon with Captain Karty.

You can even drive on the beach!
Here in Volusia County, cars and light trucks are permitted right on the beach. Many of our Guests tell us they get a huge thrill out of cruising up and down our part of Florida’s beautiful Atlantic coastline.
